My best run Thus Far.
So, this morning I got up at 5:30 to run before Chris left. While I was running I just kept pushing, telling myself that I had to make the most of being up so early. So that I did!!

Not so Great Monday
I was so looking forward to a great run today...not so much. I woke up late and so I wasn't able to go before Chris left for work. Then the boys were all up early, so I couldn't even get on the treadmill. Finally this afternoon I got to do a quick run. It was short, but at least it was something:)

First Saturday Run.
Late today, Chris kept James and Trevor and then Logan and I went for a run. I can't believe how cool it is out. It felt so good to run in the cool evening and push a SINGLE jogging stroller. I ran a nice hard mile that was mostly uphill. Can't wait for monday!!!

3 Miles!
Yay, I ran 3 miles finally. It's been a really long time since I've ran this far. It was a major accomplishment for me today. And not only did I do distance, but I ran at a faster pace!!I love running in Paradise Crest. It brings back such great memories. Rachelle and I ran many, many miles there. I sure do miss my running partner!

Progress, Sweet Progress
Today I had my best run so far. I hit a major wall and pushed through it. It was so proud of myself:) It gives me such hope again. The breathing (when I remember to do it) definetly helps with the sideaches. My knees haven't hurt since I switched shoes, now if I could get my back dialed in. Ice and Advil are my best friends at night!

Early Morning Run.
Chris woke me up at 6:00 so I could run before he left for work. It was suppose to be 5:30, so I was grateful for the extra 1/2 hour of sleep:) My knees didn't hurt at all today...so it's confirmed, it's my new shoes:( It was a hard typical monday run. But, I pushed through and kept running. Every step from the first step, felt like a wall. I know in time it's going to get easier. I'm so proud of myself at how well I've already stuck to it!

Those Darn Side Aches
Lately when I have been running, I have gotten the worst side aches at about .5 miles! They are killing me. This morning, no different. So after a mile, I jumped on the computer and did a little research. It said to breath more deeply, exhale when the left foot hits, and purse your lips on the exhale. So, I ran another mile, practicing the new breathing and- IT WORKED! Finally no side ache. It was awesome.

It's the Shoes...
I ran on the treadmill this morning with my old shoes and my knees didn't hurt AT ALL!! I'm so sad. I love my shoes. I guess at least my old shoes are the nike+ also so my ipod still works with them.
